A DAY AT CAPRA
We thought it’d be nice to share last week’s pics of a day inside Capra’s shop.
All our pieces are crafted here, at our shop in Bogotá. You’ll see our tools and machines, some work in progress, and a bespoke piece for special customer.
We use thick leather. We have to sew it with heavy duty industrial machines.
Our bronze stamps. We heat them around 60°C (140°F) and emboss the leather with pressure.
Cutting leather by it self is an art. Firm quick hands and an eagle eye for imperfections. Here Libardo with a pattern from acrylic.
