MEET OUR ARTISANS: CHUCHO

Meet Chucho, our master artisan.

A cheerful, family oriented, hard-working, creative man. Passionate about exploring nearby towns, biking, and playing soccer with his buddies on the weekends.

At only 17 years old, he started cultivating his mastery of leatherwork. He worked in some other leather workshops until he found Capra in 2016. He was looking for bespoke craftsmanship, staying away from mass production.

He remembers his first day at Capra. He did his first piece and felt he was in the right place. It was evident his passion for creating.

Co-designing and creating unique pieces is his favorite part of working at Capra. Chucho and Juan made a great team. Starting with brainstorming, sketching, prototyping, and a lot of trial and error.

With his experience and technical excellence, he transforms creativity into real pieces.
